Our Vision for Staghills and Edgeside
The communities of Staghills and Edgeside will start to see the renaissance of their communities. Accessible play parks for all ages, keeping people safe from cars in and around the estates and developing attractive walking routes between their homes and services and opportunities will all contribute to improving pride in their communities.
The development of the Hut will see a new focal point for community activities and services and help accessing jobs and building confidence through Rossendale Works will start to support families into the future.
Staghills and Edgeside Projects

- Cobden House former play area improvements
The Pride in Place programme gives local people the opportunity to guide how funding is used and to focus on the improvements that matter most to them.
Chair of Civic Pride
We have secured £20m for the next 10 years for Waterfoot, Crawshawbooth and Rawtenstall.
The government strongly endorsed our plan, which means we can start to deliver the things our community want.
