Business Workshops & Events

We arrange a range of workshops and events to support our businesses, covering anything from new government legislation to workshops in digital performance, leisure and tourism to employment tribunals.

Our next event “Moving Forward Together” for Rossendale based businesses with Professor Simon Bolton who lives in Ramsbottom is on Wednesday 2nd September 2020 at 6.30pm on Zoom – See below for details.

We typically plan around 6 events and workshops a year and in addition, we work with existing networking groups.

See below a list of some of the networking groups:

  1. Rossendale Business Leaders- This networking group is organised by the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce and we actively refer qualifying businesses to them. The group considers everything relating to business on a local and national level. The meetings are free to attend and are once a quarter. There is a qualifying  criteria relating to turnover and no. of employees, so if you’d like to find out more then please email us.
  2. Valley At Work– The meetings are typically the first Wednesday of every month and are free to attend. These networking sessions are extremely informative and are a great platform for business promotion.
  3. Town Centre Business Associations- There are proactive groups of traders in Bacup, Haslingden and Rawtenstall. They link in with the community groups and provide a steer on council initiatives.
  4. Boost Lancashire-Register for their Lancashire wide events and workshops on their website.
